We have installed a photovoltaic system that allows us to be approximately 75% energy self-sufficient, harnessing solar power and minimizing the use of gas for both production operations and the heating of company facilities.
We have also installed next-generation heat pumps with top energy efficiency ratings, enabling us to climate-control both offices and production areas with minimal environmental impact.
In our commitment to protecting the environment, we have implemented — and continue to improve — an advanced wastewater treatment system based on a combined process of decantation, oxidation, and microfiltration.
We have replaced our entire lighting system with low-impact LED fixtures and upgraded all office windows with double glazing to minimize heat loss and enhance overall energy efficiency.
From a packaging perspective, we have adopted responsible practices: all packaging used for raw material storage follows a strict separate collection and recycling process. Additionally, for clients who are particularly attentive to ESG policies, on specific items we offer lightweight glass bottles, made with reduced amounts of raw materials, thus lowering the environmental impact of both production and transportation.
We also work with cork suppliers who support responsible forest management through FSC® certification in their production processes. The FSC® certification provides the highest market guarantee that the cork used has been responsibly harvested, ensuring the preservation of cork forests for the future.
These initiatives represent just a part of our ongoing commitment to a more sustainable future – driven by environmental respect and a deep sense of responsibility toward future generations.
